A Higher Degree of Nursing
Skilled
nurses are in demand. Today's environment has brought to the forefront a
growing need for caring and well-educated nurses at all levels. The Clarkson
College School of Nursing has a higher degree of excellence, providing you with
the ethics, knowledge and opportunities for learning the necessary skills to
help you succeed in the health care of individuals.
Clarkson
College has a part-time program that will allow you to work while you complete
the coursework for a practical nursing diploma. Classes will be scheduled so
that you can complete the Practical Nursing (PN) courses over a two-year
period. Clarkson College offers you computer-assisted classroom activities and
lab experiences, small class sizes and clinical sections. You will have the
opportunity to earn transferable college credit hours.
A Higher Degree of Future
If you
are a current Certified
Nursing Assistant (CNA) who wants to return to school, work toward becoming
a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and increase your earning potential as an LPN,
the Clarkson College Practical Nursing (PN) diploma program can get you on your
way.
Once you
become an RN, you will have many other opportunities awaiting you, should you
decide to move your career ahead again. Upon successful completion of the PN
program, you have the option to transition into the Clarkson College Registered
Nurse (RN) to BSN program. With our RN to BSN program, students may
validate 41 nursing credit hours by successfully completing the RN to BSN
Transition Courses. To accommodate the working professional, the RN to BSN
program can be completed with the convenience of online education.
Our BSN Fast
Track program allows you to graduate with a BSN in five semesters with the
required prior college experience. Because you will receive a strong
educational foundation, including supervised hands-on clinical experience, the
Fast Track option is an on-campus program only.
If you
are looking to advance in your nursing career even further, the Master
of Science in Nursing program is in your future. This program prepares
nurses for challenges and opportunities in today's health care environment.
Study is offered on campus or through online education.
