During
each semester at Clarkson College, undergraduate students with notable academic
scholastic achievements are given public recognition by publication of the
Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List, the student must be enrolled
in at least nine hours of coursework in the fall and spring semesters and have
a Term Grade Point Average (TGPA) of 3.5 or higher. For the summer session, a
student must be enrolled in at least six hours of coursework and have a Term
Grade Point Average (TGPA) of 3.5 or better. Students receiving an Incomplete
("I") grade in a Clarkson College course are not eligible for the
Dean's List in the semester the Incomplete is received.
The
Dean's List is posted within the College and released to hometown newspapers if
the student completes a media release
form (PDF format). Please note that students who have a Buckley Hold will
not be included in publicity releases.

effort to submit new releases a providing receipt of signed media release form.
Newspapers are not obligated to publish news releases; however, many newspapers
will publish them. It is the newspaper's discretion when and if to publish
releases. Depending upon the how frequently the newspaper prints, it may be
several weeks before the information is published.
