Welcome to Financial Aid!
Clarkson
College is committed to providing access to financial assistance for
qualified students who without such aid would be unable to attend college.
Financial assistance includes scholarships, grants, loans and part-time employment
which may be offered to students in various combinations, depending on the
student's degree of financial need. Financial need is determined by comparing
the financial support from the student and the student's family, with the
total cost of attendance for the academic year. Financial aid received from
Clarkson College is intended to supplement student and family resources.

Financial
aid refers to funding in the form of grants, loans and scholarships intended
to help students pay tuition or other costs, such as room and board, for
education at a college. The aid provided by Clarkson College is intended to
supplement, not replace family resources. The primary source of funding rests
with both Federal and State government; therefore, government regulations
determine a student's eligibility and awards.

A committee
of leading experts in financial education has developed the following
financial education brochures for students and their families. The
brochures are designed to help students take charge of their financial future
with a Warm-Up,
a Work-Out
and Weigh-In
with topics such as spending, using credit, saving money and avoiding
